Through representations made by Commodore F. Elliott,
0.B.E., R.N. the Admiralty offered and His Excellency the Governor was pleased to accept the loan of H.M.S. "Cornflower" a sloop of 1,175 tons, as a Drill Ship for the Force. H.M.S.
